I'm moving for a number of reasons, most of which are personal. What I can tell you is that I feel the need to take a new direction with my artwork, and I feel held back by my old ways. Sort of like trying to fill a cup that's already full, I don't feel myself progressing anywhere, so I feel like I need to empty my cup and start over. As I was going through my gallery I noticed some things about my style that I decided I didn't like, and I really think I need to let go of myself and just fly free into something new. I honestly don't know what to expect, but that's perfect for me. I'm currently planning a surrealist sort of comic to illustrate what's going on in my mind about this, so there's something to look forward to.
My comic, Phoenix Incarnate, has been removed from here because I have a sneaking suspicion that employers are finding it and I'm not getting interviews because of its content. I absolutely hate doing this, but I'll bring it back some day after I've had a chance to revisit the story and fix it up a bit. One of my problems is that I made a lot of new decisions about the story's direction halfway through, but I had already established some things about the characters that contradicted what I wanted to do. So, the comic will be restarted some day, meaning better art and hopefully a story I can be proud of.
To reiterate; This account is circling the drain, so go and watch my new account "PhoenixIncarnate" if you're still interested in my art. For a while I'll be uploading some of my old art that I actually like, but eventually I'll be adding some new things.
